Member Of Parliament of Akyem Oda, Hon Alexander Akwasi Acquah visited Oda Sports Stadium on Monday 21st November 2022 to inspect progress of Akyem Oda Stadium rehabilitation project. The visit was part of his effort to support the rapid development the Oda Sports Stadium to enable Akyem Kotoku Royals Football Club to host Premier League Matches in Akyem Oda after the World Cup international break, the management of Kotoku Royals were present to receive the Honourable Minster of Parliament.
Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, MP promised to bring Kotoku Royals Football Club back home to their home ground. The project contractors Amasco & Co. And Mr Nicholas Ofori assured all stakeholders that project completion can be achieved within a maximum period of 21 days. The management of Kotoku Royals Football Club thanked Honourable and called on the contractors to ensure they meet their timelines. Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, MP also charged both contractors to work hard and finish the project within the timeframe stated.
On Tuesday 22nd November 2022 Honourable MP of Akim Oda followed up on his promise to support Akyem Oda Stadium rehabilitation project when handed over cash payment of GHc 100,000.00 to contractors to commence the first phase of the rehabilitation of Akyem Oda Sports Stadium. The project will be jointly managed by Akyem Oda National Sport Authority (NSA) and Kotoku Royals Football Club senior management.
