Ex-Kotoko forward Andy Kumi headlines eight brilliant additions to Kotoku Royals

Ghana Premier League side Kotoku Royals have captured the signature of eight brilliant stars including former Asante Kotoko forward Francis Andy Kumi. Kumi, 23, has signed until the end of the season from premier league side Bechem United.

The new Royals forward Kumi has already hit the ground running scoring three goals for his club in the two games he has played by far. He scored his debut goal against his former side, Asante Kotoko in Kumasi before getting a brace in his second match for the side against Bibiani Gold Stars to ensure 3-2 victory for the Royals.

The new signings are expected to augment coach John Aduafua’s side in the battle to stay in the elite division of Ghana football.

The others include enterprising winger Clinton Kumi who also signed until the rest of season from Elmina Sharks, forward Frank Kai from lower tier side Windy Professionals has joined on a two year deal.

The rest of the list are: center back Evans Appiah from King Faisal, ex Ashgold winger Amos Nkrumah,  right back Paul Abanga from Akasti All Stars, center back Richrad Mensah from Aboi Youngsters, and Adams Fuseini  from TSU FC who have all signed on a year deal.

All eight players have said they are delighted to have joined the Akyem-based side and will be fully committed to seeing the side out of the relegation zone.

The Royals who are next up against Tamale City in Tamale have picked up 10 points from 15 matches (3W, 11L, 1D) and are at the bottom of the table.
